Manx BirdLife is the wildlife conservation charity working to protect the Isle of Man’s wild birds and the habitats on which they depend. To find out more about us, visit Manx BirdLife - Nature. For generations.
Offering a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, our education programme is designed to inspire young people to discover and cherish the Island’s wildlife, and to consider their role as future stewards of our natural environment.
We waste gallons of water every day. By reducing this, we will reduce the need for groundwater extraction, which will reduce the destruction of wild bird habitats such as wet grasslands and rivers. Wetland birds such as Teal, Lapwing and Curlew are all species of greatest conservation concern on the Isle of Man - Birds of Conservation Concern in the Isle of Man 2021 - Manx BirdLife. We can enable your young people to discover more about wetland birds and their threats; provide opportunities to see wetland birds in the wild; and give ideas on how to reduce water use.
