Manx BirdLife is the wildlife conservation charity working to protect the Isle of Man’s wild birds and the habitats on which they depend. To find out more about us, visit Manx BirdLife - Nature. For generations.
Offering a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, our education programme is designed to inspire young people to discover and cherish the Island’s wildlife, and to consider their role as future stewards of our natural environment.
Seabirds are the bridge between our terrestrial and marine environments and therefore important indicators of the health of both. Seabirds such as Eider Duck, Herring Gull and Razorbill are all species of greatest conservation concern on the Isle of Man - Birds of Conservation Concern in the Isle of Man 2021 - Manx BirdLife. We can enable your young people to discover more about seabirds and their threats; provide opportunities to see seabirds in the wild; and give ideas on how to help them.
To learn more about how we can assist your school, class or youth group activities and studies, visit http://manxbirdlife.im/education-programme/ or email education@manxbirdlife.im with the topics you would like help with.
